Ms. Tasneem Fatima
Tasneem Fatima is a development professional with an experience of more than 14 years in research, analysis, documentation, case work, campaign and behavior change communication. She did her Post-Graduation in Sociology. She has been associated with Saajhi Duniya since 2007. She is an active member of the core team of Saajhi Duniya which executes the daily activities of the organization. She is also responsible for handling accounts in the organization and is the Treasurer in the Executive Committee of Saajhi Duniya. She is involved in many projects on issues such as gender discrimination, respectful maternity care, fundamentalism and women, accessibility of women to justice, etc. She also studied social exclusion in planning and implementation of Swachh Bharat mission in 20 village panchayats of Uttar Pradesh. She created gender sensitive material for the training sessions with students and delivered them in a very entertaining and effective manner. She prepared booklets on various issues such as Child marriage, Child rights, Inheritance rights, sexual violence, immoral trafficking act and child custody. She analyzed the textbooks for classes 1-12 affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Education Board, ISC/ICSE and CBSE. She worked as a researcher on several projects. Her expertise and area of interest include gender equality, peace building, violence against women and role of media. She is responsible for pursuing court cases of women victims of violence and managing the documentation of Saajhi Duniya’s activities. She is also a part of Saajhi Duniya’s cultural team.
