Against the remission and premature release of the perpetrators of the gang rape of Bilqis Bano during Gujarat genocide (2002), Saajhi Duniya, along with other organizations, protested at Shaheed Smarak, Lucknow. The secretary of Saajhi Duniya alongwith 2 other persons, filed a petition against the remission and premature release of these criminals. The petition was admitted by the apex court which has sought response from the central and Gujarat government.
